Poetry Submissions

We welcome submissions of poetry and prose poetry. We do not accept other forms of writing at this time.

File Format & Specifications

Please submit .docx files only.

Please format the title of your file accordingly: Lastname_Title.docx

Please attach separate files for separate pieces, unless they are part of a series. Please specify in your email if they are part of a series.

What to Include

Each submission must include the following information in the body of your email:

• Your name:

• Title of your piece(s):

• A short bio about yourself in the third person (~100 words)

For Poetry:

• Submit up to 5 poems per submission period

• Individual poems should not exceed 50 lines each

• Include line counts for each poem

• Please attach separate files for each piece

For Prose Poetry

• Submit up to 5 prose poems per submission period

• Total word count for all prose poems should not exceed 1,000 words

• Include word count for your submission

• Please attach separate files for each piece

Rights & Permissions

We ask for first digital publication rights. After publication, rights return to the author.

Your work will remain in our online archives as long as we are able and the magazine is active, unless you request removal.

Please submit previously unpublished work only. Work that has appeared on social media or a personal blog should not be submitted, as this is considered published.
