Visual Art Submissions

We welcome submissions of photography, paintings, drawings, and digital artwork. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting.

File Format & Quality

JPG files only.

For non-digital work (paintings, drawings, mixed media, etc.), please submit a high-quality JPG image of your piece, taken in good lighting. You can include up to 3 additional shots of the work to show context (details, brush strokes, angles of the work) if needed.

Please format the title of your file accordingly: Lastname_Title_Medium.jpg

What to Include

Each submission must include the following information in the body of your email:

• Your name:

• Title of your piece(s):

• Medium (e.g., oil on canvas, digital illustration, charcoal, photography, etc.)

• Dimensions (for non-digital work)

• Artist statement (100–200 words about your piece)

• A short bio about yourself in the third person (~100 words)

Whether we should consider your piece for the cover. Please note that cover art may be subject to some editing (combined with other images, text overlay, etc). Should your piece be selected, we will reach out regarding any changes like this to make sure you are comfortable with the final product.

Number of Pieces

You may submit up to 3 pieces of work per submission cycle.

Works may be submitted individually or as part of a series. (please specify)

Rights & Permissions

We ask for first digital publication rights. After publication, rights return to the artist.

Your work will remain in our online archives as long as we are able and the magazine is active, unless you request removal.

Please submit previously unpublished work only.
